Sense And Nonsense

DiDi Records - Athens, Greece - January 1987

DIDI120

Recorded in London by Davis Ros in 1986 (on the day that Terry Wait got taken hostage), this 5 track e.p was originally meant for release on Noise A Noise Records - a label formed by members of That Petrol Emotion. After months of delay, however, it was finally shelved, forever to remain unreleased. Or so we thought.

Sense And Nonsense SleeveMany months later, the demo found its way to some bloke in Greece, who decided to put it out on his own Di Di Records.

The saga didn't quite end there, however, as the release was further delayed by a freak mediteranean heatwave which melted all the vinyl in the local record pressing plant*

*Not sure this bit is actually true, but it was something like that. It's a damn good story, whatever!
