All Hull Let Loose

Hull City Council / Where? Magazine - Hull, UK - 1992

HULL 1

You don't get many records produced by your local council - but this is one of the rare ones.

All Hull Let Loose was a showcase of local Hull talent (circa 1992). It featured the highs of the obviously well known and successful Beautiful South, Kingmaker and Fila Brazilia to the lows of the truly awful Marino and Lisa Dominique.

Milkfloat contribute Somewhere In The Process from the lost "Processed" album - which places them comfortably in the middle of the talent scale just above Warp Spasm but struggling to better the genius that was Rich Rags!

You had to be there - but if you weren't - the full track listing went something like this:

Side One:
Northern Sky by Marino
Tell Me What You Want by Legislation
Where You Stand by Kingmaker
So Long Goodbye by Looking For Adam Clayton
Radio Charlie Manson by Rich Rags
Somewhere In The Process by Milkfloat

Side Two:
Oui by Fila Brazillia
Trevor, You're Bizarre by The Beautiful South
Friends In The Harbour by Lisa Dominique
I Hear Someone Dying by Warp Spasm
Just The Way by Ian Beharrell
Withernsea Rain by MG Greaves & the Lonesome 2
