Hello and welcome to phildolby.co.uk

In 2006, after packing-in my nine-to-five job, I spent nine months travelling around the world with my wife, an acoustic guitar and an Apple Mac computer. I hoped to use the time I had away from work to write and record an 'album' of songs: and to my complete surprise I did!

The result is a CD titled Where Are We Now? and it's available to buy from this website. It's a limited edition, one-off run of 100 copies which I hope to sell to raise money for the Kantha Bopha Children's Hospitals in Cambodia - a place we visited whilst in South East Asia, and which does great work helping some very needful people.

As for the music...

Where Are We Now? is an eclectic mix of styles with lyrics that reflect what we saw and experinced as our journey around the globe unfolded; there's some acoustic rock with a touch of politics; some melodic pop; a smidgin of old style punk; and even a touch of country & western. Truly, something for everyone!
